Today,I expected Jane’O to be on the hard, but she wasn’t. Bay Marine is slow, probably due to the weather. But I was able to get a new main sheet and attach it today. The old main sheet was too short, making the main not flat enough during a downwind run. Here’s the improved one, with the boom pushed all the way forward. A lot of main will now lay on the cap shroud, but I think this will result in a better downwind run with the main.
I also got some new flares. The old ones are probably just fine, but I need new ones to stay legal:
Finally some measurements for the galley. Once the survey critical itemsare fixed, attention will be on replacing the galley sink and possibly the stovetop.
